Jaakko Oksanen will boost Wimbledon’s midfield options in time for the start of the League One season.
The on-loan Brentford midfielder has been away with Finland Under-21s and he came on as a substitute in a 3-1 defeat in his homeland against Romania at the weekend. Jaakko will again be on international duty tomorrow night in a European Championship Under-21 qualifier versus Ukraine in Helsinki.
Jaakko will fly back on Wednesday and he’s expected to be back in training at our New Malden base on Thurdsay, ahead of Wimbledon’s league opener at Northampton Town.
