Shayon Harrison today trained at Plough Lane after making significant progress from the ankle injury he suffered on 20 February at Peterborough.
The injury occurred just moments after he came on for his Dons debut, but Shayon's positive attitude has helped to push him forward in his recovery.
Our physio Tim Maynard said: "Shayon is making excellent progress following his ankle injury. He has done the hard yards, having to build up and maintain strength whilst in the protective boot. Now he is outdoors and completing football-based rehabilitation and functional fitness with zero reactivity within his ankle. He has been hardworking and patient. Shayon has been brilliant and super diligent with everything and it's paying off. I would anticipate that you will be seeing him return to training within the next 2-3 weeks."
