Former midfielder Anthony impressed by new-look Dons

Anthony Wordsworth was delighted to be able to see former teammate Will Nightingale net our opening goal in Saturday’s historic game at Plough Lane.

Anthony is now playing for Waterford in the League of Ireland, but suspension ruled him out of Friday evening’s trip to St Patrick’s Athletic. Although he had to miss out for his new club at the weekend, Saturday’s performance by the Dons went some way to make up for the disappointment of lack of match action!

Our former midfielder was also impressed with Robbo's new-look Dons, the squad rejuvenated by eight summer additions.

We caught up with the popular midfielder after the 3-3 thriller with Bolton Wanderers to get his views, having started out as a youngster with Wimbledon.
