AFC Wimbledon is pleased to report our sponsorship deal with Bendac Group, the UK’s leading custom LED display solutions provider. Bendac have now come in as our Back of Shirt Sponsors. Bendac has come onboard signing a 3-year sponsorship agreement with the Dons. This new and exciting partnership between AFC Wimbledon and Bendac has aided the club in delivering astounding LED displays to fans returning to Plough Lane.
The Bendac Group has supplied several LED displays around the stadium to be used for advertisement, match information and conference purposes.
In a statement regarding the partnership, Commercial Director Ivor Heller, said “I first met Bendac's company founders David and Ben about six years ago. David has one of the greatest stories about the club and ranked quite high out of all stories I’ve ever heard, and we have had such an amazing relationship since then. The level of support they have put into the club is outstanding and it’s a massive honour welcoming them into the AFC Wimbledon Family.”
Father and son duo, Ben and David Da Costa, design and deliver state of the art LED projects, completing installation solutions in over 20 countries. The company pride themselves on their innovative technology and a vast selection of LED products suitable for a wide variety of applications and environments.
Co-founder and life-long fan, Ben Da Costa, commented “We are delighted and proud to have signed this partnership agreement with such a unique club! As a result of having a Dons crazy dad, this has meant I have followed the amazing journey of AFC Wimbledon from a young age and to now be working alongside such a fantastic organisation is a dream come true.
"It isn’t just the fairytale story that has piqued our interest, it is the ambition and correctness in the way the club operates. It is “A Fan’s Club” reflected in the immortal letters AFC, that has meant we were even more motivated to work closer together, with the club, the community, following on from the already great success we have had installing the new LED visualisation displays throughout our new home back at Plough Lane.
