Flying winger Dylan Adjei-Hersey helped Merstham to three points on Saturday in the Isthmian League.

Dylan (pictured after signing pro for the club recently) played the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 victory over Potters Bar Town in the Premier Division. Former AFC Wimbledon defender Reuben Collins also featured for the Moatsiders, for whom another former Wimbledon player Chace Jacquart scored the winning goal.

Defender Jack Currie also completed a full game, as he was part of an Eastbourne Borough side that won 5-2 at Billericay Town in the National League South at the weekend.

Having scored on his Hemel Hempstead debut the previous weekend, forward Zach Robinson limped off before half-time in the Tudors 3-0 defeat at home to Braintree Town. He tangled with an opposing player while chasing a loose ball before the break, also in National League South.

Striker David Fisher came off just before the end, in Hampton and Richmond’s 2-1 defeat to Havant and Waterlooville. David earned the Beavers a penalty, when he was brought down by former AFC Wimbledon goalkeeper Ross Worner, but the hosts were unable to convert.

Right-back Huseyin Biler made a promising start for Welling United, but the afternoon didn’t finish well at Park View Road as the hosts were beaten 4-1 at home by Hungerford Town.

Striker Corie Andrews was named in Aldershot Town’s starting line-up for their opening National League game against Chesterfield at the EBB Stadium in the National League. He completed 73 minutes, before being substituted in a 2-0 defeat.

Striker Aaron Cosgrave’s time with Dover Athletic has unfortunately been disrupted, due to positive covid results returned at the Kent club. They have now returned to training.

There were defeats in the Isthmian Premier for midfielder Elliott Bolton, who with Corinthian-Casuals lost 1-0 to Folkestone, and young Dons duo Isaac Ogundere and Kwaku Frimpong with Leatherhead. They went down 2-1 to Wingate and Finchley at Fetcham Grove, with Sam Hatton scoring the winner in the 90th minute.

Assistant Head Coach Rob Tuvey has said we will also aim to loan out defenders Luke Jenkins and Jack Madelin, when they fully recover from injuries.
