Dons disappointment gives way to putting things right

Post-match interviews with captain and talented midfielder

22 August 2021

While you could sense the disappointment that emerged from the away dressing room at Sunderland yesterday, there was also a determination to rectify matters in our post-match round-up.

Skipper Alex Woodyard shared the view of Head Coach Mark Robinson that we didn’t do enough to earn something from our visit to the Stadium of Light. However, he’s keen we find form again very soon, with a Carabao Cup tie at Northampton on Tuesday night, followed by another League One game at Portman Road against Ipswich next Saturday.

You can see the full interview with Alex Woodyard below, via the link to our official YouTube channel.

Midfielder Jack Rudoni came on and tried to make a difference for Wimbledon in the last half hour at Sunderland. "Rudi", pictured trying to get the better of Callum Doyle, also spoke to us afterwards and the talented youngster gave a very honest assessment of our performance.

You can hear what Jack Rudoni had to say below.
