It's official! We have passed our final Test Event and can now use our new home exactly as we always planned.
The huge milestone was confirmed last night during our 1-1 draw against Gillingham and our chief executive Joe Palmer was delighted to break the news.
"Plough Lane is well and truly in our own hands from now on and I can't thank sufficiently all the people who helped make it happen.
"It's up to us now to turn our wonderful new stadium into a wonderful home. We've now played two home games in front of proper crowds and you can already sense a real atmosphere is building."
Passing all the Test Events means we can plan and host events and functions that will bring vital new revenue streams into the club.
Joe added: "It's like the final piece in the jigsaw.
"We simply didn't have an opportunity at Kingsmeadow to bring in new revenue streams but now we have and that's extremely exciting.
"Plough Lane isn't just a new home, it's the foundation on which we can build a great financial future for the club."
