Urgent information about season tickets and our home game against Oxford.

As many of you are aware, the club has been afflicted with ticketing problems and we can only apologise unreservedly for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused. People are working flat out behind the scenes to rectify these issues, all of which emanate from both our new ticketing system, and our separate access point and card provider.

There are two immediate areas of concern we are trying to resolve with utmost urgency - tickets for Saturday's home game against Oxford, and the safe delivery of season tickets to those fans who have not yet received them.

1. Season Tickets

The good news is these will be sent out tomorrow (Tuesday) by guaranteed delivery and should land on doorsteps no later than Thursday.

If they are delayed in the post, we will arrange a replacement ticket via email or collection at Plough Lane on Friday (September 3) or on the day of the match.

It is essential, though, that if your ticket doesn’t arrive and you need a replacement ticket for Saturday, that you please email us to let us know at  tickets@afcwimbledon.ltd.uk

2. Oxford tickets

To begin with, this game was almost postponed because of possible international call ups. It wasn't until Friday last week that we knew for sure it would be going ahead.

It is also important to note that we are moving towards a position of getting matches on sale earlier, which will mean supporters will have multiple matches to choose from wherever possible.

The Oxford game is currently sold out on the ticket site, but some more tickets will still become  available as this week progresses. This is because some will be returned for general sale by debenture holders or season ticket holders who will not be attending.

a. Debenture Holders

We would like to remind our debenture holders that the deadline for booking your reserved seats ends at midnight TONIGHT (Monday August 30) before any remaining tickets are released for general sale on Tuesday.

b. Season Ticket Holders

Any season ticket holders who can't attend the match against Oxford United should let us know as soon as possible via email: tickets@afcwimbledon.ltd.uk so that ticket can be returned for general sale.

c. One-off match tickets

From Tuesday and through the week any tickets returned will be put on sale. Please check the ticket website. We will update fans on whether or not any will remain available for purchase on the day nearer the time.

There are still reports that some fans are not getting the correct stadium card / debenture discount on purchase prices - although we believe this issue has now been resolved. Please ensure you are looking through all the various ticket price categories during the booking process.

If, however, any fan purchases a ticket without receiving the correct discount, this will be refunded after the event if they message us at tickets@afcwimbledon.ltd.uk.

In fact, if any fans are encountering any other ticketing issues at all then please don't hesitate to message us on the same email address.

Finally, we would like to apologise once again to every fan who has been affected by these ticketing issues.

There is little doubt we placed great dependence on our new ticketing system but regrettably several issues have recurred.  Those issues are being dealt with on a daily basis by a back-room team who are fans themselves, and understand the angst some of you are regrettably enduring.

It is our firm belief  that the processes will become clearer, easier and simpler once all the problems have been rectified. So thank you for your incredible patience and thank you for your amazing support.
