For the rest of the week, the Club Shop will be moving from its current location in Centre Court Shopping to our new ground at Plough Lane. This will mean a slight disruption in normal service which has been compounded by the pandemic, as our Retail Manager Mat explains:
‘After over six months of being in a temporary set up it’s really exciting to be going home. The plan is to move to the new stadium throughout Wednesday and Thursday, then spend Friday unpacking. Obviously this will mean a few days where we’re unable to get to fulfilling mail order and we’ll return to this first thing Monday.
In addition to this, the Post Office on the Broadway that we use for our posting closed yesterday until Monday due to a member of the staff testing positive for Coronavirus. As I only learnt about this yesterday after we had packed up all the orders, this means that even if you got a dispatch confirmation email yesterday the items won’t be posted until Monday. It’s a sign of the times we currently live in and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes anyone.
I’d like to acknowledge the generosity and helpfulness we have been shown by everyone at Centre Court during our brief tenancy, sales have been great while we were allowed to open and I hope this continues once everyone is permitted to enjoy our brand new store’.
