Aaron Cosgrave has joined National League club Dover Athletic on loan.
Our Head Coach Mark Robinson stated when we signed the pacy forward that he would be going out on loan to gain more first-team experience and the 21-year-old has signed for the Kent club in time for the 2021/22 campaign.
It will be a season-long loan deal for Aaron, though there is a recall option in January.
Our Loans Manager Michael Hamilton said: “This is a great opportunity for Aaron to go and showcase his potential with a club and a manager (Andy Hessenthaler) that are as excited about his ability as we are.
“The move has been in the pipeline for a while with Mark having made it clear that a loan for Aaron was key in him signing for us. Aaron showed glimpses of his ability in the game versus Liverpool Under-23s and this loan now provides him with a platform that will challenge and stretch him. On a day to day basis he will train between the two clubs, and now it is up to Aaron to grab the opportunity.”
