Important Information

15 July 2021

With the Brentford pre-season friendly match quickly approaching, we wanted to take a minute to make fans aware of a few key things to consider on the day

Unfortunately, this will not be like a regular football match experience. Covid restrictions mean just that – restrictions – and we ask fans to carefully read the below information, our how to ticketing guide and very importantly our code of conduct.

Until July 19, we are still under covid regulations and as a result there are quite a few guidelines we will all have to adhere to for this event.

Tickets

Tickets are available for fans to download online by logging in to their Online Ticketing Account.

Fans will be asked to agree to Supporters Code of Conduct prior to being able to download their tickets. Please do take the time to read these guidelines as they are specific to this test event.

Only print at home and mobile tickets can be used to access the stadium on the 17th. There will be no ticket office to offer re-prints on the day of the event.

Fans who are unable to download their tickets to a mobile device or print at home are asked to email tickets@afcwimbledon.ltd.uk so that we can print the tickets and arrange collection prior to the event. All tickets will have to be collected by 12pm on July 16.

You will not be able to collect tickets on the day of the event.

Accessing Plough Lane

Plough Lane will open for fans 1 hour and 20 minutes before kick-off. However, fans will be required to enter the stadium via their preassigned entrance at a designated time slot. Additionally, fans will be required to go through security where you and your bag may be searched.

Below is a colour coded map of the stadium entrances along with stadium times, to ensure all spectators enter the Plough Lane safely, and therefore, maintain social distancing.

We asked all fans to carefully study the colour coded map of the stadium below to understand firstly their gate entrance whether that is GATE’S 1 & 2 from the south end of the stadium (Plough Lane end) or via GATE 3 at the north end of the stadium (Garratt Business Park end).

We also ask fans to pay attention to their allocated entry time window. There are 3 main windows, each of 20 minutes, so please do your best to arrive ready for entry at these times.

Key:

Parking

It must be reiterated that there will be no parking on site (accessible spectators will be communicated separately). Therefore, it is recommended that fans commute to the stadium by train, bus, or, if you are local, by foot.

Garrett Business Park has asked us to remind everyone that there will be no parking within the business park on that day.

Food and Drink

Unfortunately, food and drink will not be available at the stadium, although feel free to bring along a clear plastic bottle of water; no glass containers, cans or thermos flasks will be allowed.

Bags

To help reduce queues at checkpoints, we would kindly ask fans not to bring bags into the stadium where possible. If essential, then please only bring an A5 bag (21cm x 15 cm x 10cm) or a clear bag only. Large bags or suitcases (including cabin bags) are not permitted.

Face coverings

Please ensure that you wear a face-covering at all times, including whilst seated in the stands, in the toilets, as well as in the concourse areas. The only exception to this is when you are eating or drinking. Also, it is compulsory that social distancing is maintained at all times whilst in the stadium and during your commute to and from the game.

If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, then you should show an exemption pass when required. If evidence is not provided you may be refused entry.

Seats

It is imperative that fans stay in their allocated seats in the stands on the day. Please do study your ticket and take time to make sure you and your bubble are in the right seats. Social distancing within the stands is critical and it will be very tempting to move close to other friend bubbles, but we kindly ask that you refrain from doing so.

Covid 19

If you are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms before the event, please do not travel to the stadium.

For more information regarding our Covid-19 protocol, please refer to the Supporter Code of Conduct.

The current rules have been put in place by the government; therefore, these protocols may be subject to change.
