Wanted: Physio for AFC Wimbledon Ladies

Working with – AFC Wimbledon Ladies

Days/Hours/Location

  • Train at Carshalton Athletic FC Tuesdays and Thursdays 8-10pm
  • Play at Plough Lane Stadium on Sundays at 2pm (and the occasional Wednesday evening)

Role – AFC Wimbledon Ladies are offering the ideal candidate the chance to immerse themselves into gaining first-hand experience providing medical cover for the AFC Wimbledon women’s first team. The role would provide pitch-side cover. Fixtures take place on Sundays and the occasional Wednesday, training takes place on Thursdays. Thursday’s session would be mainly viewed as an injury clinic to assist the physical development and rehabilitation of the first team players.

The role will become an integral member of the AFC Wimbledon Ladies team in facilitating, developing and delivering improvements in the player’s health, rehabilitation and injury prevention and there is the potential for the ideal candidate to develop close links with the AFC Wimbledon first team and academy Medical Departments.

A retainer fee will be discussed at interview and the role attracts travel expenses.

The ideal candidate should be: enthusiastic, driven; hardworking; adaptive; flexible and an excellent communicator.
