Two of our first team squad were involved in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers tonight.
Forward Dapo Mebude (pictured) started for Scotland, in their 2-1 victory over Kazakhstan at Tannadice Park in Group I. The pace of the game picked up and Dapo was involved in a lively second-half, receiving a yellow card in the 59th minute before he came off eleven minutes before the end.
Striker Aaron Pressley was an unused substitute on this occasion, as he still awaits his first appearance at this level. Having beaten the team that is bottom of the group, Scotland - with our Dons duo - face a tougher test at the same venue next Tuesday, when they take on runaway leaders Belgium.
Earlier, in Budapest, defender Dan Csoka helped keep a clean sheet and played the full game, as Hungary beat Latvia 1-0 in Group B. Next Tuesday Hungary are due to be in Israel, where Dan will hoping to avenge the 2-1 defeat which he figured in when the two countries met in September.
