Loan watch: Dylan makes it three in three

Mixed fortunes elsewhere for our young Dons in the FA Cup

Winger Dylan Adjei-Hersey maintained his recent goal scoring form with his third in three league games for his loan club on Saturday.

He took just five minutes to score Merstham’s first in their 5-0 thrashing at home to Haringey Borough in the Isthmian Premier. Former Academy defender Reuben Collins was also among the goal scorers, with the second towards the midway point of the first half. Adjei-Hersey has now scored four goals this season for Merstham.

We are due to visit Haringey Borough in the first round of the London Senior Cup by November 6.

Elliott Bolton came so close to helping Corinthian Casauls to cause an FA Cup upset. He featured in a 1-1 draw at home to St Albans, and the two sides will do it all again tomorrow night though.

Aaron Cosgrave also has an FA Cup replay tomorrow night, after playing in Dover Athletic’s one-all draw at home to Yate Town.

Striker David Fisher came on in the second half of Hampton & Richmond’s 2-0 defeat at Ebbsfleet United in their fourth qualifying round tie. Forward Corie Andrews was part of an Aldershot Town side that suffered an FA Cup shock, as they went out 2-1 at Bowers & Pitsea.

Defender Jack Currie played the full 90 minutes of Eastbourne Borough’s 2-2 draw at home to Chippenham Town in National League South.
