Loan watch: Elliott bounces back!

Midfielder overcomes cup disappointment

25 October 2021

Midfielder Elliott Bolton returned to winning ways on Saturday.

Elliott was a part of the Corinthian-Casuals team just edged out of their FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay at St Albans City in midweek - going out 4-2 on penalties after extra-time. However, that winning feeling soon returned at the weekend as he figured in the 1-0 victory over Hornchurch in the Isthmian Premier.

Winger Dylan Adjei-Hersey got the edge over his former under-18s teammate Kwaku Frimpong in an Isthmian Premier Surrey derby on Saturday. In-form Merstham came away from Fetcham Grove with all three points after their 3-2 victory over Leatherhead, for whom Frimpong came on and played the final twenty minutes.

Striker David Fisher had a chance to break the deadlock for Hampton & Richmond midway through the second half, in their National League South meeting with Chippenham Town. It finished honours even though at The Beveree, with a goalless draw the outcome.

Elliott Bolton is pictured in action for The Dons against Brentford.
