Loan watch: Dylan notches opener in away victory

A round-up of Saturday's action involving our young Dons

No League One action for Wimbledon this afternoon, but there were plenty of goals elsewhere involving our players.

Winger Dylan Adjei-Hersey (pictured) took just four minutes to give Merstham the lead, against a Corinthian-Casuals side that again featured Elliott Bolton. Bragging rights were earned by Adjei-Hersey at the final whistle, as Merstham wrapped up a 3-0 away win in the Isthmian Premier.

Striker David Fisher assisted in Hampton & Richmond’s first, as they levelled against Chelmsford in front of a crowd of 771 at The Beveree. He went on to slide the ball under the Chelmsford keeper for the hosts fourth goal, in a 4-2 victory in National League South.

Top scorer Aaron Cosgrave added to his tally, when he scored another impressive goal for Dover Athletic in the National League game against Barnet at The Crabble. He struck from 20 yards out to reduce the deficit, but it wasn’t enough as the Kent club lost 2-1.

Defender Jack Currie not only helped keep a clean sheet, but was also involved in Eastbourne Borough’s second goal. They won 2-0 at Maidstone United in National League South, in front of 2382.

Forward Corie Andrews was very active for Aldershot Town in their National League game at Edgeley Park against Stockport, but he didn’t get on the scoresheet this time as the Hampshire club returned empty-handed following a 1-0 defeat.

Fellow striker Quaine Bartley came on as a substitute for the final nine minutes, as Cray Wanderers drew one-all at Haringey Borough in the Isthmian Premier.
