Jack Currie continued to impress while on loan at National League South Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.
The young defender (pictured) caught the eye over another 90 minutes with his crosses from the left, as the Sussex side thrashed Braintree 6-0 at home. In the same division, striker David Fisher came up with an assist for Hampton and Richmond as they drew 1-1 at Oxford City.
It’s been a week of mixed fortunes for midfielder Elliott Bolton with Corinthian-Casuals. He played in an FA Cup second qualifying round replay against Leatherhead on Tuesday, scoring his first goal for the club - a 77th minute header - in a 3-0 victory. Bolton was involved in Isthmian Premier action at the weekend, but ended up on the losing side on that occasion as Worthing avenged an earlier FA Cup defeat.
Forward Quaine Bartley made his debut for Cray Wanderers. He played for 65 minutes, before being substituted, under the guidance of his new manager Danny Kedwell. Cray went on to lose 2-0 to Brightlingsea Regent. Winger Dylan Adjei-Hersey also suffered a defeat, as part of a Merstham team that were beaten 4-1 by Kingstonian.
Striker Corie Andrews had opportunities in the first and second half to add to his tally with Aldershot Town this season, against FC Halifax Town. However The Shots, under a new management structure which includes Terry Brown, lost 1-0 at the EBB Stadium though. Aaron Cosgrave suffered a similar outcome, as Dover Athletic lost by the same scoreline at home to Bromley also in the National League. Cosgrave was substituted in the second half.
