Two-goal Rudi aims to stay on target

Post-match reaction with talented young midfielder

Jack Rudoni took his personal tally to three goals from his last two appearances yesterday, with a brace to help clinch all three points against Oxford United.

"I think it's my first goal in front of fans at Plough Lane," said Rudi. "It was great to get two as well! The fans make it everything out there! Celebrating and hearing the roar - it's just crazy!"

You can see all of our second-half goals from the 3-1 victory over Oxford below, including Will Nightingale's soaring header for our second.

"I just want to keep it going and help the team get the wins really, by me doing my bit by getting the goals," added Rudi. "It's something I've had to work on - getting my goals and assists up. Hopefully I can carry on and keep pushing forward.

"Will has found goals since the second-half of last season! We've always known that Nighty is a threat in the box. I think we've just started utilising it. Credit to Anthony Hartigan with his set-pieces and Nighty is doing well."
