Will Nightingale gave an honest assessment of Wimbledon's performance, after we let slip a goal lead and were beaten at lowly Shrewsbury.
We went in front through Dapo Mebude in the 32nd minute, but hosts Shrewsbury turned the scoreline around with a goal in each half - for only their second league victory of the season.
"To be honest, I think everyone just has to look at themselves," said Will. "If I'm being harsh and truthful - I think everyone can be better. I think we've all got to learn from this and we've all got to want to be better.
"Every game has got to be a game we want to win and believe we can win and this defeat hurts. First and foremost I have to apologise to our fans and thank them for their support again.
"If we want to have the season that we want to have and believe we can have, then obviously we've got to come to places like this and get the result we want. We started well, but a few of us have said that we can't be a team that's comfortable playing when we're behind. We've got to enjoy being ahead as well and being relentless and ruthless with that.
"When we go in front we've got to keep doing what we do well, but I think there's too many sloppy errors that let them back into the game. They should never have had that opportunity."
The Dons will aim to make amends at Rotherham on Tuesday night, who sit three places above us in fifth position in the League One table.
"We all openly had a discussion in the changing room," said Will. "When things like this happen you've got to cut it out and learn from it for next time."
