Matchday Guide: Buy on the night for Carabao Cup tie

How to get your ticket for tonight's match

9 August 2022

We’ll be aiming to extend our unbeaten start to the season tonight by making progress in the Carabao Cup – and tickets are available to cheer on the Dons.

If you haven’t booked in advance, you can buy a ticket on the night from our club reception, ahead of the game which kicks off at 7.45 pm.

Johnnie Jackson will be aiming to spark another memorable cup run for the Dons after our third round meeting with Arsenal last season, but first we must negotiate a way past a Gillingham side that got back to winning ways on Saturday.

Our turnstiles at the Cherry Red Records Stadium open at 6.15 pm, and our fantastic food park and catering facilities in the Cappagh Stand will keep your hunger at bay after work!

Below is a summary of match arrangements and what’s going on at tonight’s game.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £17 for adults and £14 concessions (£2 more expensive on matchdays). Prices are unchanged at £5 for those 17 years and under. You can buy in person before the game from our club reception. Alternatively, buy from our online ticket shop.

We wish to remind ST holders that your Season Ticket cards will not be valid to use at the turnstiles tonight.

Club Shop

We’re offering you the chance to get ‘first dibs’ on our brand new hummel third kit – exclusively available from 4.00 pm by visiting our club shop.

We'll be open right up until kick-off on Tuesday, offering you a chance to get your hands on our smart new kit - and maybe wear it for the first time at the game!

If you can’t get here on Tuesday, you’ll be able to order from our online shop on Wednesday morning (from 9.00 am).

A pictorial history of the Dons

Wimbledon in Sporting History (WiSH) will tonight be hosting an unveiling ceremony to showcase a unique cartoon installation.

Documenting every chapter of our history from 1889 up to present day, it’s set to be officially unveiled at 7.00 pm opposite the Phoenix pub.

We will be joined by the artist that created the cartoon, along with organisers Matt Couper and John Lynch from WiSH.

Food, Drinks and Pub

Our food park behind the South London Movers Stand is accessible to all of our home supporters, offering plenty of reasons to get here early to sample some culinary delights.

Food outlets for tonight are as follows:

  • Dough Shack
  • Ding Ding

With high temperatures predicted for tonight’s game, you can stay cool by making use of our ice cream van!

Of course, you can also make use of our catering facilities in the Cappagh (West) Stand and the Phoenix Pub will be open, as usual, offering a wide selection of quality beers. Please note that the full range of spirits will be available from after the final whistle until closing time at 11.00 pm. Pre-mixed cans will be available prior to the final whistle.
