Aaron Cosgrave made a successful return to full fitness with National League Southend United on Bank Holiday Monday.

The striker (pictured) clocked up his first 90 minutes since February on his full debut, as he stepped up his return from an ankle injury in the Shrimpers' 2-0 victory over Maidenhead United. It was his third appearance in total, having previously come on twice as a substitute since his loan move to Roots Hall.

Fellow forward Zach Robinson got another 45 minutes for Dundee on Saturday. However, his fifth appearance for the Scottish Championship side ended in a 3-1 defeat at Ayr United. Former AFC Wimbledon defender Ryan Sweeney, Dundee’s captain, was sent-off towards the end of the game after being shown a second yellow card.

First-year professional Ethan Sutcliffe figured in Salisbury’s 2-1 victory over Swindon Supermarine in the Southern Premier South. He assisted former AFC Wimbledon Academy goalkeeper Bert White, on debut for his new side.

Having joined Basingstoke Town on Saturday, defender Ben Mason was ineligible for their game against Hanworth Villa. He is still hoping to make his debut for the Hampshire club soon, as he didn’t figure in yesterday’s game against Binfield in the Isthmian South Central.

Young goalkeeper Luka Ziger helped Westside progress in the FA Vase. They beat Whitstable Town 4-3 on penalties, after the First Qualifying Round tie had finished one-all after 90 minutes.
