Johnnie Jackson has won the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month award after a near flawless November for the Dons.
A memorable 2-0 victory over league leaders Leyton Orient got things off to the perfect start, before we then notched up a successive clean sheet away to Salford City.
The month was then wrapped up with another convincing victory over Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park as we closed the gap on the top seven in style.
Our manager was naturally delighted to have been handed the much-coveted award earlier this week and is hungry for more as we look to continue our fine form during what is a traditionally hectic festive period.
“It’s a reward for everyone at the football club,” said Johnnie. “We had a great run in November. It’s been a great team effort from my staff and players to get us to where we are – they’ve been outstanding.
“The Orient game (is the clear highlight), the performance under the lights was great and it was a solid 2-0 victory against the league leaders.
“We want to keep our run of form going. We’re in a great place as a team and as a squad, everyone is pulling in the right direction.”
