Zaki Oualah has joined Billericay Town for the remainder of this season on loan.
Following the arrival of Nathan Broome on transfer deadline day, Mark Robinson said it was important for the 26-year-old keeper to get game-time elsewhere.
Zaki has made two first-team appearances for us since his summer arrival, both in the Papa John's Trophy.
Robbo said: "Zaki has shown a fantastic attitude, but his game-time has been limited. With the signing of Nathan, we feel it's better for Zaki to go out and play matches on loan for the rest of this season."
Zaki could feature this afternoon for Billericay in a National League South match at Hemel Hempstead.
Meanwhile, two of our young Dons have also made loan moves with Isaac Ogundere and Quaine Bartley joining Potters Bar Town for an initial month. They will link-up with our former midfielder Sammy Moore, who has just taken over as manager there.
Our Loans Manager Michael Hamilton said: "This is a good opportunity for both players to go and showcase their ability under a manager who has a good understanding of the challenges they’ll face in the coming years.
"Quaine has had a successful season with the youth team and now he has a chance to transition that ability to the senior game, and Issac should benefit from having a fresh start. We are looking forward to seeing how both boys progress."
Isaac and Quaine have signed in time to make their debuts for Potters Bar Town in the Isthmian League Premier Division match at home to Kingstonian.
