Kwaku Frimpong has joined Carshalton Athletic on loan and he’s likely to go straight into their squad for the home match against Worthing today (Monday).
The 19-year-old midfielder spent the first half of this season on loan at Leatherhead, but after being recalled by us he has now joined fellow Isthmian League Premier Division side Carshalton.
Our Loans Manager Michael Hamilton believes it will be the right move for Kwaku in his first season as a professional with us.
“Kwaku has had a testing first half of the season with Leatherhead, including having to fight for a place in the team, adjust to different managers, and display good resilience,” said Michael. “This will all stand him in good stead for the future.
“The agreement with Carshalton is ideal for the next step of his development, offering an opportunity for Kwaku to go and enjoy his football again. I’d like to thank Carshalton manager Peter Adeniyi for his support and patience in getting this deal finalised, and we look forward to watching Kwaku take the next steps in his development.”
