Striker Corie Andrews held his nerve from the penalty spot to notch his ninth goal of the season for improving Aldershot Town this afternoon.

The on loan Wimbledon forward (pictured) converted in the 88th minute to level the scores at two-all, in front of a crowd of 5171, as the Hampshire club went on to win 3-2 at local rivals Woking in the National League.

Andrews also netted from the penalty spot in the fixture between the two sides at the EBB Stadium on Boxing Day. Today’s goal took his recent tally to four goals in his last three games.

Defender Luke Jenkins had a second-half chance with a header from a corner to reduce the deficit for Tonbridge Angels, in their National League South game at Maidstone United. Although it went over the crossbar, he did complete another 90 minutes in a 2-0 defeat in front of 3116 spectators.

Defender Isaac Ogundere had an eventful game for Leatherhead on New Year’s Day, against Kingstonian in the Isthmian Premier. Both he and midfielder Kwaku Frimpong started the match at Fetcham Grove.

Ogundere set up the Tanners opener after 34 minutes, but he also levelled the scores before the break with an unfortunate own goal in attempting to clear the ball. Frimpong was substituted in the 72nd minute and Ogundere received a yellow card three minutes from time, in a narrow 3-2 defeat.

Elsewhere, Elliott Bolton helped Corinthian-Casuals to a 2-1 victory over Carshalton Athletic. Winger Dylan Adjei-Hersey played for 50 minutes for Merstham, before being substituted in their 3-1 victory over Wingate & Finchley.
