Away and Third kits unveiled!

New hummel shirts to go on sale

27 July 2022

We are delighted to reveal our away and third kits as we seek to continue the trend of keeping our story and our traditions at the forefront of our ideas.

Echoing a previous successful chapter in our history in a darker Dons' blue we will wear deep blue and gold for the 2022/23 season. This kit will be retained for two seasons and will switch to our third kit for the 2023/24 campaign.

For more information about getting this smart striking kit, and our new third kit, see the bottom of this page.

This third kit finishes off a two-year cycle of red and green and will be worn for the 2022/23 season only. We made the decision to retain a red kit as we know how popular it was last season. Due to a supplier switch we were unable to stock as many kits as we had demand for - hopefully this similarly designed kit will allow anyone who missed out to add to their collection.

The launch of our two change strips follow on from the previous launch of our bespoke home kit, which is a nod to the strip that the likes of Joe Sheerin and Matt Everard took to the field in back in 2002, which itself was a tribute to the design worn during the club’s heroic FA Cup run of 1974/75. It will be worn for one season only.

AFC Wimbledon’s kits use hummel’s ECO8 technology, meaning each shirt is manufactured from high-performing polyester produced from up to eight recycled plastic bottles. This helps both the Dons and hummel to reduce our carbon footprint whilst also raising sustainability awareness amongst our fans and the wider community.

The kits also feature hummel’s ZEROH2O dry-dye technology, a ground-breaking process that ensures there is zero water consumption, zero wastewater and a 50 percent reduction in energy consumption during the dying phase of production.
