It was full steam ahead for the Dons yesterday as Johnnie Jackson and his staff put the players through their paces ahead of our first pre-season fixture away at Bedford Town (1.00pm kick-off).
With preparations having moved up a gear since the players returned to training just over 10 days ago, the main focus of the session was around shape work and strengthening on-field relationships through an 11v11 game.
Saturday presents the players with their first opportunity to impress the coaches, whilst for our fans it signals the beginning of what promises to be a gripping 2022/23 campaign for the club.
