We are pleased to announce that Zach Robinson has signed a new two-year contract with AFC Wimbledon.
After originally starting out at Lambeth Tigers, the frontman joined our Academy system and gradually progressed through the ranks before getting his big break at first-team level.
Loan spells with Basingstoke, Leatherhead, Woking, Hemel Hempstead Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough followed, seeing Zach build up his senior experience before he was handed his first league start against Lincoln City last season.
Zach then struck his first league goal three games later, scoring a late equaliser against Charlton Athletic to underline the progress he's made in recent years.
Now he has the chance to fully focus on his football again after agreeing to stay on with a club that has shown great faith in him - and we look forward to continuing our progress together.
After committing to the Dons, Zach said: “I'm excited about the season ahead and I'm looking forward to playing here and scoring. I want to be a part of the effort to get us back up the pyramid.”
Speaking after getting the contract signed, Johnnie Jackson said: “We’re delighted that Zach has committed his future to the Club. He is a bright young player, with lots of potential, who we think very highly of. Hopefully, he can play a big part in helping the Club to be successful.”
