AFC Wimbledon's Academy has two exciting vacancies ahead of the 2022/23 football season.

Lead Academy Physiotherapist

AFC Wimbledon are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Academy in a senior role as Lead Academy Physiotherapist

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Academy's medical department,and will provide support for the U23s & first team. They will contribute to several management groups, and will be supported as part of their ongoing professional development.

They will join our exciting development programme and contribute towards the academy's vision of establishing itself as a nationally leading development programme.

Applicants must have:

  • BSc in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC / CSP Registration
  • ITMMIF / ATMMIF qualified or equivalent

Salary Expectations: Competitive

Assistant Education Officer

AFC Wimbledon are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Academy as Assistant Education Officer.

Assistant to the Academy Head of Education. Working with the U18 scholars, club staff and the League Football Education Unit (LFE), you will help design, deliver and monitor the successful implementation of the Sporting Excellence Professional Apprenticeship Standard to 16-18 years old scholars (apprentices). You will also be available to support teaching staff on the scholars' college program when required.

They will join our exciting development programme and contribute towards the academy's vision of establishing itself as a nationally leading development programme.

Applicants must have:

  • A firm commitment to take L4 Certificate in Education and Training with support from the Club.
  • Level 3 Education including Math and English.
  • A post 16 F.E. recognised teaching qualification
