Jack Currie returned to Eastbourne Borough’s starting line-up at the weekend, as the Sussex club maintained their push for promotion.
The on loan Dons defender (pictured) missed the previous week’s victory over Hungerford Town, but was back for Saturday’s 2-0 victory at home to Bath City to make it five straight victories in National League South. Currie has been a key performer for a side who are fifth in the table.
Goalkeeper Zaki Oualah earned a man-of-the-match accolade for Billericay Town, as they got off the bottom of the table following a 2-2 draw at Havant & Waterlooville. Striker David Fisher came on at the start of the second-half for Hampton & Richmond, who were beaten 1-0 at home by Dartford.
Defender Isaac Ogundere helped Potters Bar Town return to winning ways, as they beat Brightlingsea Regent 2-1 at home in the Isthmian Premier, although he was shown a yellow card in the second half.
Defender Huseyin Biler and winger Dylan Adjei-Hersey both played the full game for Merstham, who were beaten 3-1 at home by Enfield Town. Midfielder Alfie Bendle played for Corinthian-Casuals in their 2-1 defeat at home to East Thurrock United.
