This coming Saturday we will be celebrating the remarkable journey that we have been on since 2002 – and we want you to be part of it!
May 28 will mark exactly 20 years since we were told that AFC Wimbledon was “not in the wider interests of football”, after a three-man FA commission had allowed Wimbledon's football club to be relocated.
Nevertheless our supporters never gave up - fast forward some two decades – and we have a community club to be proud of as we reformed and rose back up through the leagues in just nine years.
Another chapter was then added to our story in November 2020 as we returned back to our spiritual home on Plough Lane at the newly-built Cherry Red Records Stadium.
We can’t wait to celebrate how far we’ve come and this Saturday we are inviting our loyal supporters to join us in the Phoenix Pub. You can enjoy a quality selection of beers from By The Horns Brewery, which will be open from 12 noon, so come along and salute our amazing story with a few familiar faces!
There will also be food vans on hand to provide you with a range of options, whilst the UEFA Champions League Final between Liverpool and Real Madrid (8.00 pm kick-off) will be shown on our screens. Book a table by visiting the By The Horns website.
There will also be a chance to join the Dons Trust and become part of the ownership of our amazing club.
We are fans, we are owners, we are Wimbledon. See you there!
