Following problems at Elite Sports Group, several clubs have been forced to take difficult decisions about their retail operations with statements subsequently released on their websites.
With this in mind, we are reassuring Dons supporters that it will be business as usual for our Club Shop because only a small proportion of our stock is supplied by Elite Sport.
In contrast to other clubs that rely heavily on this company, we are in the enviable position of having a range of suppliers. Our only commercial relationship with Elite Sports Group is that they provide us with hummel kits, so the rest of our retail operation is unaffected.
We are still exploring what effect this will have on the expected deliveries of hummel training and playing kit and our future kit supplies.
