Seven years and counting for Match Sponsors Ry Group

Ryan O'Sullivan on his long partnership with the Dons

11 August 2023

We're proud to announce that Ry Group will be our match sponsors for Saturday's home game versus Wrexham.

Having been involved with us since 2016, we hugely value this long-running relationship with Ry Group and we're delighted that the company are renewing their sponsorship of a stand at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Ahead of tomorrow's match sponsorship, we caught up with Ryan O'Sullivan (pictured to the right of Johnnie Jackson above) for a short Q&A and this is published below.

What is your role at the company?

CEO/Founder

How long have you been a part of your company?

Since I started on my own as a one-man band with a second hand van in 2009.

Tell us about your business?

Ry Group (AKA RyGas) is a multi-award winning Property Maintenance Company specialising in Gas, Plumbing, Heating, Electrical, Drainage & Building Services. We carry out work in both domestic and commercial properties around London, Surrey, Middlesex, Sussex, and Kent. We pride ourselves on skill, efficiency and customer service in an industry that can be daunting for many. All our team are in house and vetted. We do smaller, planned jobs, such as certification and testing, all the way to Property Refurbishments.

How long have you been associated with the Club?

Ry Group are proud to have been sponsoring the Club since 2016…………..from Kingsmeadow all the way to Plough Lane to grow as a business alongside AFC Wimbledon. However, our connection and passion with the Club goes deeper than just business sponsorship. I played for Wimbledon Academy in the late 1990s as a schoolboy and also AFC Wimbledon between 2004 and 2007. Having grown up in Morden – attending Wimbledon College – Wimbledon has always been my team.

If your business was an AFC Wimbledon player past or present, who would you be and why?

Aaron Ramsdale because of his technical ability, his progression within his industry and his ability to save the day.

How can supporters and local businesses benefit from your company?

Supporters and local businesses can benefit from our discounted rates for Dons fans, which is 10 per cent off any first visit hourly rate. As a local business, we also have very fast reaction times within the borough for emergency or planned works. For us, AFC Wimbledon is a community and we want to be a part of that, always willing to provide free and impartial advice in our industry, even if it’s not completing the works. We also get involved in local charity projects, such as Merton Giving, so please don’t hesitate to connect.

Take a look at the Ry Group website for more information on their services and how our partner can help you.
