Paul Osew’s time at AFC Wimbledon has come to an end after a mutual decision to cancel his contract was reached.
The versatile defender originally joined our Academy as a 15-year-old after leaving Brentford, before rising through the ranks to the first-team.
After signing his first professional contract in April 2019, Wally Downes handed him his senior debut during the 2019/20 campaign as Paul became a regular prior to picking up a stress fracture to his tibia. He scored his first goal in the same season, finishing off a well worked team move against Rochdale at Kingsmeadow.
He would go on to make 75 appearances in total, scoring three goals.
Paul departs the club with our very best wishes and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank him for his contribution during his time with us.
