We are pleased to announce the signing of Charlton Athletic winger Diallang Jaiyesimi on loan until the end of the season.
Comfortable on either flank, the 24-year-old has spent the entirety of his senior career to date in Leagues One and Two.
Born in Southwark, Diallang came through the Dulwich Hamlet-run Aspire Academy, captaining the under-18s before going on to make five first-team appearances.
He was then scouted by professional clubs before Norwich City signed him on a two-year contract following an impressive trial period.
Diallang failed to make a senior appearance for the Canaries and was loaned out to the likes of Grimsby, Yeovil and Swindon Town in order to build-up his experience.
Following his release from Carrow Road, the Robins brought him back in on a three-year deal. After playing some of the best football of his career, the versatile attacker was snapped-up for an undisclosed fee by Charlton in February 2021.
He coincidentally scored his first goal for the Addicks in a 2-2 draw against the Dons at Plough Lane and has since made 63 appearances.
We look forward to watching 'DJ' in yellow and blue!
