Kyle returns to Huddersfield

Loan deal cut short

4 January 2023

Kyle Hudlin has been recalled by his parent club Huddersfield Town, with the striker leaving the Dons with immediate effect.

Kyle originally joined us on a season-long loan shortly after signing for Huddersfield permanently from Solihull Moors last summer, however the Terriers have chosen to exercise the recall clause, meaning he now returns to West Yorkshire.

During the first half of the season, the towering striker netted four goals in 18 appearances for us – with all of his efforts coming in the Papa John’s Trophy against Crawley Town, Sutton United and Plymouth Argyle.

Everyone at AFC Wimbledon wishes Kyle all the best for the future and thanks him for his efforts during his time with us.
