AFC Wimbledon striker Quaine Bartley has joined Isthmian League club Wingate & Finchley on an initial month loan.
The 19-year-old has made 10 first-team appearances since rising through our Academy ranks and will now continue his development in non-league after completing his move to the Maurice Rebak Stadium.
This follows on from Kwaku Frimpong’s loan to Potters Bar Town on Monday.
Speaking about both moves, Loans Manager Michael Hamilton, said: “Both players have been in first-team squads this season, which has been great, but now it’s about them going out and getting regular game-time, with these loans representing great opportunities.
“This will be Kwaku’s second loan (after Dartford), and he will go to help Potters Bar fight for promotion - a club we already have a good relationship with.
“Meanwhile, Quaine takes on the challenge and responsibility of helping Wingate to climb up the table. He knows where the back of the net is and now needs to go and transition into senior level. Both Johnnie and Terry have shown that if a player is performing and doing well, then they will be given opportunities – now it’s up to these two to do that.”
