Support sequel that sums up remarkable club story

Plans for follow-up play 19 years later

Your help is needed to stage a sequel to an iconic play that encapsulated Wimbledon's remarkable story after its reformation in 2002.

Two years after our rebirth A Fans' Club was written by Matthew Couper to chronicle the spirit that helped the Dons to rise again.

Fast forward 19 years and Matthew is working on a follow-up to a show that enraptured Dons supporters when it was shown for the first time at Wimbledon Studio Theatre. The following year it went on a mini-tour, including a performance at Wimbledon Theatre, before a run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Now, twenty-one years after AFC Wimbledon was rebuilt by the fans the play has been completely re-written to take in some of the influential voices of the time and reflect on the eventful journey since.

However, funds are required to stage the play at the Cherry Red Records Stadium and to support WiSH (Wimbledon in Sporting History).

There are some amazing rewards for anyone that contributes, include show tickets, posters and CDs.
