End of Season awards gallery

Accolades for players and staff

3 May 2023

Our end of season awards had extra significance this time around as we recognised the tireless contributions made by club staff.

Special presentations were made at our final home game and at our end of season dinner to our long-serving Commercial Director Ivor Heller - one of AFC Wimbledon's four founder members after we reformed back in 2002. Ivor will become a Life President for the Dons after his massive contribution to the Club.

And there was also a much-deserved award for our Retail Manager Mat Haylock, who received the Club Employee of the Year accolade.

Jack Currie received three Player of the Year awards and Ali Al-Hamadi was presented with the WISA Allen Batsford Trophy for the men's Player of the Year. Hannah Billingham and Rosie Russell received the awards for AFC Wimbledon Women after their impressive season.

The full list of awards is below:

  • Women's Young Player of the Year - Rosie Russell
  • The Natalie Callow Memorial Trophy for the men's Young Player of the Year - Jack Currie
  • Players' Player of the Year - Ethan Chislett
