Dons on the Ball for Next Generation

A round-up of activities from our Foundation

10 November 2023

Dons players Harry Pell and Ethan Sutcliffe helped to round off a busy week of activities on a high, as part of the EFL Trust Week of Action.

Harry and Ethan took part in a Q&A with pupils from Alderbrook School in Balham - children were also given a stadium tour and signed programmes to take away.

This came after we hosted 10 young people from local charity Generate - a partner of our Foundation - at our match on Tuesday, thanks to an activation with Bristol Street Motors, the new sponsors of the Trophy.

A day later, our Foundation hosted a 'Wildcats' football session for 5-11 year old girls with AFC Wimbledon Women's keeper Lauren Allen as special guest.

Our Foundation Director Philip Rudling said: "We always enjoy the Week of Action as a chance to showcase our programmes and the impact on young people - this week was no exception. It's been great for the kids to meet first team men’s and women’s players, who have interacted really well with the kids, answering questions on their lives as footballers, and also joining in with the football activities."
