Loan Watch: Ethan soaring high with Angels

A weekend round-up of our players in action elsewhere

Ethan Sutcliffe continues to be a part of a Tonbridge Angels side that’s gaining momentum, having extended his loan.

The young centre-back, who is now staying with the National League South club until the end of the season, started and was involved in Saturday’s emphatic 4-1 victory over Havant & Waterlooville in front of a crowd of 1,025 at Longmead. The Kent team are now eighth in the table after the win over the bottom side.

Ethan made his league debut for the Dons this season, when he came on as a second-half substitute in the game against leaders Stockport County at the Cherry Red Records Stadium in September.

North of the border, defender Will Nightingale helped Ross County to a clean sheet and a point in the Scottish Premiership. It finished goalless at home to Kilmarnock, with Will completing the full game under new boss Derek Adams. Ross County are tenth in the table.

Striker Zach Robinson came on for the last fourteen minutes of Dundee’s 2-1 defeat to Hibernian at Dens Park. That was his twelfth appearance of the season for the Dee.

Winger Ryan McLean has figured for Kidderminster Harriers in their last two National League games.

He was in from the start and completed the 1-1 draw with Hartlepool United at Aggborough last Tuesday. Ryan got another 82 minutes in Saturday’s 2-2 draw away to Oxford City.

Attacking midfielder Morgan Williams was an unused substitute for Woking in the same division at the weekend. The Cardinals were beaten 4-2 away to Luke Garrard’s Boreham Wood.

Elsewhere in National League South, defender Ben Mason lined up for Braintree Town in their 3-0 defeat at Slough.

Forward Paris Lock has been used as a substitute in Dover Athletic’s last two games - the 1-1 draw with Eastbourne Borough last Tuesday and Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Weston-Super-Mare also at The Crabble.
