Bid for a headline-making shirt!

Limited edition pieces up for auction

3 April 2024

Our special one-off Warm & Wonderful x War Child shirt has made headlines across the globe and sold out in record time. Now we’ve got the perfect chance for you to get your hands on one of your own!

That’s because we’ve got a collection of iconic pieces which are now up for auction via MatchWornShirt.

And it’s not just the shirts of our players which are on offer, we also have a wide array of limited edition celebrity-signed pieces, featuring names such as Ted Lasso star Phil Dunster, Wimbledon’s 1988 FA Cup-winning captain Dave Beasant and award-winning author John Green!

We have just added a shirt signed by our Men’s management team, with Johnnie Jackson, Terry Skiverton, Rob Tuvey and Ashley ‘Bayzo’ Bayes all adding their own personal touches. Plus there’s also a shirt signed by our promotion-chasing Women’s first-team squad.

From signed individual shirts to a replica of Dave’s FA Cup final walkout jacket, there’s something for people of all ages – with all proceeds going to War Child and our very own AFC Wimbledon Foundation with more than £6,000 raised on the auctions so far.

The eye-catching ‘black sheep’ design, which hit the Guardian fashion pages, has become a real collector’s item after being worn in the warm-up by our players against Harrogate Town on Good Friday, whilst the scaled-down match worn shirts from the game itself are also available to own.

MAKE YOUR BIDS NOW TO AVOID DISSAPOINTMENT BY HEADING OVER TO OUR OFFICIAL AUCTION PAGE. BE QUICK – THE CLOSING DATE FOR BIDS IS SATURDAY 13 APRIL!

We were delighted to welcome the owners of the Warm & Wonderful brand, Rowing Blazers to our game against Harrogate. Here’s what they had to say about the game, along with a quote from War Child themselves.

“I’ll never forget my day at Plough Lane for as long as I live — and it’s going to be the first of many! Everyone I met was so welcoming, from the volunteers and staff to the fans and players. The only person I have beef with is the ref! I’m very thankful to Marc and the team. Womble til I die!” - Jack Carlson, creative director Rowing Blazers.

“There’s nothing quite like League Two football. It possesses a certain level of character and grittiness that you’ll never experience anywhere else. Reminds you why you love the game. I can’t thank everyone at the club enough for welcoming us as one of their own. Up the Dons!” - Tommy Cissel, Collaborations, PR, & Operations at Rowing Blazers.

“We’re thrilled to have partnered with AFC Wimbledon and Sports Interactive. We want to thank everyone involved in giving us this support and awareness for our cause. The shirt designed by Warm & Wonderful is as iconic as the jumper it’s modelled on. It looks stunning and has raised a lot of money for the charity.” – David Miller, Head of Gaming Partnerships at War Child.
