We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Joe Kinnear after the former Wimbledon manager passed away at the age of 77.
Joe is rightly regarded as a Dons legend after his managerial feats in the 1990s.
After taking over the reins in 1992, Joe guided Wimbledon to a sixth place Premier League finish in 1993/94, regularly taking the scalps of the leading top-flight clubs during his tenure.
Joe's achievements were recognised in 1994 with the LMA Manager of the Year award.
Two further top-10 finishes were achieved before he departed as manager in 1999 and the 1996/97 campaign is still warmly remembered by Dons supporters as it included reaching two domestic cup semi-finals.
A more extensive tribute to Joe will follow in the matchday programme for the Walsall game.
