Jake Reeves and Isaac Ogundere have proved to be vital cogs in our push for the Sky Bet League Two play-offs.

Playing 62 games between them, both players are fully embedded into how Johnnie Jackson wants our side to play – a full throttle Wimbledon style – that most importantly, they both love and flourish within.

Here we hear from Jake as he closes in on a return to the pitch, whilst Isaac speaks about his impressive form this season as he continues to improve week on week.

You can watch and read these fascinating, in-depth interviews with our DonsTV team down below. We'll be back on air this evening, so make sure you tune-in on our Facebook and YouTube channels!

LEADING ON AND OFF THE PITCH

“We’re really good at home. It’s frustrating to not be involved but you can only get behind the boys and try and help them in a different way. Even if I don’t get in the team when I’m back fit, I’ll still be wishing the likes of Bally (James Ball) all the best. That’s why we are such a tight-knit group.

“You see the game differently when you’re watching from the stands. Watching it from on high you can sometimes understand why fans get frustrated, because it seems slower. It’s a lot quicker when you’re out there. Sometimes it’s good to take a backwards step like that so that you can go in the dressing room at half-time and pass on advice.

“I train with these guys every day, I know what their attributes and traits are, so I feel like I’m in the position to do that as captain. As long as everyone keeps sticking to what we’re good at, the results will come.”

Jake also went on to discuss the tactical side of the game and his pride at being skipper of this Dons team. Watch the full interview below!

FULL FOCUS ON THE ULTIMATE GOAL

“Our performance levels against Morecambe were really good, we’ve now got to push on against Crawley and get three points. We get our recovery in via a series of techniques. We pride ourselves on clean sheets so we need to keep at it.

“Browny (Lee Brown) and Kofi (Balmer) have been excellent since they’ve come in. The whole back five have been solid, especially Alex Bass, he’s kept us in games and I think his distribution has been superb.

“We defend our box really well, we sprint out to threats quickly and don’t let any shots come in. I want to play as many games as possible, so I’m relishing this schedule. I love playing here at Plough Lane, the fans have been so good to me and the other Academy graduates.

“We know we’re in and around it and know where we need to be but it’s important we don’t get too high or too low. Our ultimate goal is to get in the play-offs and get promoted. We take it game by game and don’t look too far ahead.”

Isaac highlights his admiration for our new retro shirts and discusses the healthy competition he has with Huseyin Biler for the right-back spot. Watch the full interview below!
