Welcome home Dave! FA Cup hero confirmed as special guest

Join Dave Beasant in Hospitality on Saturday

3 January 2024

We're proud to announce that we'll be joined by a Dons history maker on FA Cup Third Round Day - that man Dave Beasant!

Famous for becoming the first goalkeeper to save a penalty in an FA Cup Final, 'Lurch' will be our special guest on Saturday for the big home tie versus Championship high-flyers Ipswich (12.30 pm kick-off).

We'll be presenting Dave on the pitch before the game for all supporters to give him a rapturous welcome home - and create a special buzz around the place as the Dons seek to create more cup magic!

As we announced yesterday, we've sold out of general admission tickets for Dons supporters, so we're expecting an electric atmosphere on third round day.

HOSPITALITY

With home areas sold out, hospitality is now the only way to guarantee a seat at the game, if you've not yet secured your ticket.

And the extra incentive to book is that you'll have a chance to meet Dave in our fantastic lounges, as he'll be introduced to diners before the big match. A replica of the FA Cup will also be paraded, so it offers an opportunity to get those treasured photographs for years to come!

We have availability for the following:

  • Viticult Lounge
  • Wimbledon Quarter Lounge
  • Omnia Lounge

Breakfast/brunch will be served up (access from 10 am), with a range of benefits for each of the packages, including access to the Networking Bar.

For those who haven't yet sampled hospitality, it includes watching the game from a padded seat with breathtaking views of all the action - after enjoying a delicious meal.

It's the ultimate way to mark a special occasion for friends and family, or simply to treat yourself at the game.

Book now from our Seat Unique Hospitality website.

And for Ipswich supporters

Danny Haynes, who made over 100 Ipswich appearances from 2005 until 2009, will also be joining us as a special guest in hospitality.

Ipswich supporters are welcome to book in the usual way, as above, but please note that club colours will not be permitted.
