Central defender who joined the Dons Academy in summer 2015 after not being offered a scholarship by Brentford, where he had been playing as a striker.

He made his first-team debut as a substitute in an EFL Trophy game against Barnet in August 2017, and spent a month on loan at Tonbridge Angels the following spring.

Named captain of the Dons’ U23s for the start of the 2018/19 season, he broke into the first team in January, making an impressive league debut at Portsmouth, and he made a vital contribution towards our League One 'Great Escape'. 

Paul has become a regular at the heart of our defence since then, making over 70 appearances and scoring one goal, which coincidentally also came against Pompey.
