Keeper who moved from New Zealand to England with his family in 1996 and played for the Crystal Palace and Brentford academies.
After the latter closed, he signed for the Dons’ U23s in March 2017. Nik, who has had loan spells at Potters Bar Town and Sutton United, made his first-team debut against Rotherham on the opening day of 2019/20.
In between making some memorable penalty saves and being handed a new three-year contract, the Kiwi has gone on to become a regular at first-team level and has greatly benefitted from working alongside the influential Ashley Bayes.
Nik made his full international debut for New Zeland in June 2018 against Taiwan in the Intercontinental Cup.
