Attacking midfielder Ethan marked his league debut for Wimbledon by scoring after just 20 seconds in the 2-2 draw at Northampton Town on 12 September 2020.
Ethan had earned a reputation as a goalscoring midfielder in the National League last season with Aldershot, scoring nine times before the season was curtailed prematurely due to the Covid-19 crisis.
After moving to England as a boy from South Africa, Ethan played for Guildford Saints, where his father Donovan was his manager. Though spells with pro academies, including Southampton, didn’t work out, Ethan furthered his football development by playing Futsal and had a spell in Spain, before returning to these shores to reignite his career at Imber Court with Met Police.
Starring alongside current team-mate Nesta Guinness-Walker, Ethan played a pivotal part in a memorable FA Cup run for Met Police that ended in the first round at the hands of Newport County. He was snapped up by Aldershot in 2019 and his form in the National League - Ethan made 38 appearances in his debut season at that level - earned a move to Wimbledon.
