A Plan Insurance continue to back the Dons for 2013/14
Dons supporter Colin Butler had no hesitation in handing over AFC Wimbledon season tickets to his sons Andrew and Simon after winning the club’s A Plan Insurance prize draw.
Colin, who lives in Maidstone,was delighted to win the first prize of two season tickets for 2013/14 and an AFC Wimbledon shirt signed by all of last season’s squad.
“I got the call when I was doing something quite complicated at work and I had to ring A Plan back to make sure that I had won,” said Colin. “I have continued with my season ticket for the EcoHouse End though because the club still needs the money. I decided to give the season tickets to my sons Andrew and Simon. I went to school in Tooting and Wimbledon were always my local team before I moved to Maidstone. Then during Wimbledon’s days in the Ryman League the away games were often closer for me to attend.”

Mark Richardson, a branch manager at A Plan Insurance, said: “This year we had a fantastic response from AFC Wimbledon fans with bumper entries into the prize draw and policies taken out. We are looking to build on the relationship going into the 2013-14 League 2 season.”
In addition, A Plan Insurance have also agreed to give everyone who takes out a new policy, two free hospitality places for an AFC Wimbledon home game this season. They will donate £25 for each policy taken out by an AFC Wimbledon fan or friend to the club. A Plan Insurance have pledged their support to AFC Wimbledon for this season.
