Team of the decade: A tough choice to make at left-back

Gwillim, Meades, Kennedy or Seddon?

We’ve got another very tough decision to make and we want your help to do it!

So far, in your AFC Wimbledon team of the decade, you have chosen wisely - with Aaron Ramsdale in goal and Barry Fuller at right-back. We have four fans’ favourites for you to pick from at left-back.

Gareth Gwillim was brought in by Terry Brown and his hard-working displays soon earned the admiration of Dons supporters. It also earned him a place in the starting line-up on our historic day at the City of Manchester Stadium, when a penalty shoot-out victory over Luton sealed our return to the Football League.

Jon Meades (pictured) initially joined us on loan as a youngster from Neal Ardley’s former club Cardiff City. He helped keep us in the Football League, with a vital goal at champions Gillingham, and played in the dramatic final day win against Fleetwood Town in 2013. Jon returned to the club in 2015, after a spell at Oxford United, and he was part of the side that clinched promotion via the play-offs in 2016.

Callum Kennedy ended up signing three times for The Dons! The versatile player also played a part in our League Two Play-off triumph over Plymouth Argyle at Wembley in 2016.

Steve Seddon joined us on loan from Birmingham in January of this year. Not only was he a great character around the training ground and the dressing room, he also came up with some important goals! Steve was also your choice as the winner of our online poll for Goal of the Season in 2018/19, finishing off a great team move at Walsall in February.

Vote now, via the official AFC Wimbledon twitter account, for the next 24 hours to decide who your third choice is in the team of the decade.
